Berry Liqueur
Berry Liqueur

Fill a quart jar with raspberries, marionberries, or other cane berry, and cover entirely with vodka. Close jar tightly, let set in a dark place for 4 months or until berries lose their color. Pour berries and liquid into a bowl, mash berries with a potato masher. Strain through a fine cloth, then strain again through 4 layers of cloth, pour into clean jar. Add sugar to taste... I use 1 to 1-1/2 cups sugar for 1 quart of berry juice.

Bottle Berry Liqueur in liqueur bottles, available at local beer-making supply stores or online at Specialtybottle.com. Cork, and finish with bottle hoods.
